Please reach me at SanctumSanctum2026@outlook.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I work with young people and adults who are seeking guidance through life's challenges. Whether you're looking to better understand yourself, improve relationships, navigate family or work dynamics, manage stress, or build resilience, I provide mentoring that is practical, supportive, and centred on helping you move forward with confidence and peace.
It’s normal to feel nervous prior to your first appointment, but it’s also normal to feel more at ease once the session begins. The entrance and waiting room are entirely private so you can wait in peace prior to your session. The only person you will meet or interact with is me. This gives people a strong sense of privacy and allows them to truly relax when they come for an appointment. Indeed, I’ve gone to significant lengths to provide the highest levels of privacy and comfort.
If your appointment is via video, you will receive a link to the secure video service when your booking is confirmed. If it’s via phone, I will call you at the start of your appointment. I appreciate that your time is important so you can expect your session to start on time. Additionally, I put a sizeable gap between sessions, so the discussion doesn’t feel rushed and you don’t need to worry about bumping into the next person.
The focus of the first session is to develop an understanding of what has brought you to therapy, as well as gathering some important background information such as employment history, family dynamics, and other factors that impact your wellbeing. Typically, the first session is an insightful experience that allows you to confirm your goals and understand how I work.
No. You do not need a referral to book an appointment with me. You are welcome to contact me directly if you feel mentoring and support may be helpful. Whether you are seeking guidance through a difficult time or looking for personal growth, you can reach out whenever you feel ready.
Every person is different, so I tailor my approach to your individual needs. My work is informed by several evidence-based and practical approaches that help people better understand themselves, their experiences, and how to move forward.
Family Of Origin
Family of Origin explores how your early family experiences may influence the way you think, feel, relate to others, and respond to life's challenges today. By understanding these patterns, you can begin to make choices that better reflect who you are now, rather than who you needed to be in the past.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. Rather than struggling against them, you learn practical ways to accept what you cannot control while taking meaningful steps towards the life you want to live.
Trauma Informed Practice
Trauma can affect the way we think, feel, and respond to everyday situations. A trauma-informed approach recognises these experiences and creates a safe, respectful environment where healing and growth can occur without judgement.
Suicide and Awareness Support
When someone is experiencing thoughts of suicide or deep emotional distress, feeling heard and supported is essential. I provide a calm, non-judgemental space to explore these feelings, strengthen protective factors, and help identify practical supports and pathways forward.
If you are in immediate danger or unable to keep yourself safe, please contact emergency services or your local crisis support service immediately.
Nervouse System Regulation
Stress, anxiety, and trauma can leave your nervous system feeling overwhelmed or constantly on alert. Together, we explore practical techniques that help your body and mind feel calmer, more balanced, and better able to respond to everyday challenges.
Renewing your mind Therapy
The way we think shapes the way we live. Renewing your mind involves recognising unhelpful thought patterns, developing healthier perspectives, and building habits that support resilience, confidence, and lasting personal growth.
Coaching and Mentoring
The balance between coaching and mentoring changes depending on what each person needs. Some individuals may benefit from a coaching-led approach where they are guided through reflection, questioning, and goal setting. Others may require more mentoring support through advice, examples, tools, and practical strategies.
Throughout the process, I provide a supportive and challenging environment where individuals are encouraged to reflect, take ownership, build confidence, and develop the skills needed for long-term success.
Protecting your privacy and maintaining confidentiality is a fundamental part of my practice. I take every reasonable measure to safeguard your personal information and ensure that our conversations are handled with the highest level of care, respect, and security.
While confidentiality is a priority, there are certain rare and exceptional circumstances where information may need to be disclosed. These circumstances may include situations where disclosure is required by law, such as a legal subpoena or court order, or where there is a serious concern regarding your safety or the safety of another person.
The limits of confidentiality will be explained clearly and discussed with you before your first appointment or at the beginning of our work together. My aim is to ensure you feel informed, respected, and confident in the way your privacy is protected throughout the coaching and mentoring process.
